Wednesday, April 18 was Wellness Day at Regina. This year’s theme was “Be Well, Live Well!”
The day began with a screening and discussion of the critically acclaimed documentary Angst, which explores causes of anxiety amongst teenagers along with coping skills for teens. Speakers from the Chicagoland area presented 30-minute sessions on various topics within the following six areas of healthy living: social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, intellectual, and physical wellness. The students chose which break-out sessions to attend. Sessions included: Zumba, learning about essential oils, alcohol awareness, self-defense, yoga, visits from therapy dogs, stress management tips, art therapy and more!
