Regina Dominican Fine Arts seeks to nourish students’ creative talents, inspire her imagination and teacher her to express ideas. Students are encouraged to explore elective classes in the fields of visual art, music, theater and dance to build a diverse and comprehensive transcript. In addition, a wealth of extracurricular opportunities, including musicals, plays, concerts and clubs exist to increase the breadth of our students’ exposure to and involvement in the arts.
Performing arts include the Choral, Fall Musical, Orchesis Dance Ensemble, Orchestra and Spring Drama. A listing of our performances this year is below.
The Fall Musical brings together the talents of our orchestra, actresses, and tech theater class into the Fine Arts department’s largest production of the year. Contact Dave Hiett, musical director, at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

Put away those shopping lists for the night and enjoy the musical spirit of the holidays. The annual Regina Dominican Christmas Concert takes place in December in the O’Shaugnessy Theater. Students in orchestra, chorale and chamber choir perform traditional Christmas songs and carols as well as songs unique to the Regina Dominican community such as the “Fruit Cake Song.” There is a reception in the foyer following the concert. Contact Dave Hiett, music director, at email@example.com for more information.
Christmas Concert will be on December 15, 2017.
Members of the Modern Music Masters Honor Society at Regina Dominican share their talents during this concert performance. The cost of $5 per person goes toward Regina Dominican music scholarships. These scholarships provide private voice and instrumental lessons.
Tri-M Night of Music will be on February 13, 2018.
