The Graduate Parent Organization is an organization that focuses on keeping parents of Regina Dominican connected with the school after their daughters have graduated.
The organization’s mission is to provide opportunities for our past parents to stay connected with Regina Dominican and the mission of the school.
Regina Dominican Graduate Parent Organization Mission Statement
The purpose of the Regina Dominican Graduate Parent Organization (GPO) is to provide a means for parents of Regina graduates to stay connected with the school by maintaining active participation and association with the Regina Community. The GPO’s mission is to sponsor and participate when available in purposeful activities which include:
- hosting opportunities that allow Alumnae parents to return to the school to reconnect
- supporting the faculty and staff with time and talents
- attending fundraising events of Regina Dominican
- promoting the school to the community at large

John Brennan, Vanguard- Former CEO, University of Notre Dame- Chairman Board of Trustees
February 12, 2018 Time: 6:30 pm-7:30 pm
John J. Brennan is chairman emeritus and senior advisor of Vanguard. Mr. Brennan joined Vanguard in July 1982. He was elected president in 1989, served as chief executive officer from 1996 to 2008, and chairman of the board from 1998 to 2009.
Mr. Brennan is a director of General Electric Company, LPL Financial, Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, and American Express Company; chairman of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA); chairman of the board of trustees of the University of Notre Dame; a founding trustee of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST); chairman of Vanguard Charitable; and a member of the Pennsylvania Early Learning Investment Commission.
Mr. Brennan graduated from Dartmouth College and earned a Master’s degree in business administration from the Harvard Business School. He has received honorary degrees from Curry College and Drexel University.

Jim Kokoris has written four novels, the most recent being the popular
It’s. Nice. Outside, a fictionalized memoir of his life with his son Andrew. His work has been translated into fifteen languages and his first book, The Rich Part of Life, won The Friends of American Writer’s award for best first novel in 2001. In addition, his work has won high praise from The New York Times and The Los Angeles Times. In addition to his novels, Jim was a columnist for USA Today Weekend magazine and The Chicago Tribune Sunday Magazine. A Chicago native, he is a graduate of Marist High and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He lives in the Chicago area with his wife and family.

Sister Donna Markham will share her leadership stories about
what it is like to be the first woman president in the 105-year
history of the organization. An Adrian Dominican sister with a
doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Sister Donna served
CCUSA’s Board of Directors for eight years. She is an
international speaker in transformational leadership,
organizational change management and the effective treatment
of the mentally ill. Sister is also engaged in global peace
initiatives directed toward building bridges of understanding and
collaboration across conflict zones.
