Kelly Rourke Golden ’89, Neapolitan, Owner

Kelly is the owner of fashion emporium Neapolitan. She is a Regina Dominican graduate, an Edgebrook native and a Kellogg MBA. Neapolitan is a fashion powerhouse. In the fast-paced fashion industry, Kelly must anticipate trends for her sophisticated clientele. Under her leadership, her store has quadrupled in size and sales have grown 2000 percent since 2003. She was featured in Crain’s Chicago Business in October 2016. She is the mother of three.
Bridget C. Coughlin, Ph.D., President and CEO, Shedd Aquarium

Bridget C. Coughlin, Ph.D. serves as President & CEO of Shedd Aquarium providing strategic oversight and direction to all activities and initiatives for the world-class institution.
Before joining Shedd, Dr. Coughlin served as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Programs and Adjunct Curator at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science (DMNS). Nationally recognized for her efforts, Dr. Coughlin led the creation of the DMNS Health exhibit, a recipient of the Association of Science-Technology Center’s 2010 Leading Edge Award for Visitor Experience. She also established the acclaimed National Institute of Health-funded Genetics of Taste Lab, a community-based laboratory that gives guests the opportunity to participate in scientific research.
Prior to DMNS, Dr. Coughlin spent 5 years with the National Academy of Sciences, where she served as Managing Editor of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. She has also led research teams funded by the National Institutes of Health, Howard Hughes Medical Institute and Woods Hole Marine Biological Laboratory.
Dr. Coughlin holds a bachelor of arts from Knox College, a doctorate in biochemistry from the University of Iowa, and an executive MBA certificate from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She enjoys outdoor activities, cooking and spending time with her husband and three sons.
John Brennan, Vanguard- Former CEO, University of Notre Dame- Chairman Board of Trustees

John J. Brennan is chairman emeritus and senior advisor of Vanguard. Mr. Brennan joined Vanguard in July 1982. He was elected president in 1989, served as chief executive officer from 1996 to 2008, and chairman of the board from 1998 to 2009.
Mr. Brennan is a director of General Electric Company, LPL Financial, Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, and American Express Company; chairman of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA); chairman of the board of trustees of the University of Notre Dame; a founding trustee of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST); chairman of Vanguard Charitable; and a member of the Pennsylvania Early Learning Investment Commission.
Mr. Brennan graduated from Dartmouth College and earned a Master’s degree in business administration from the Harvard Business School. He has received honorary degrees from Curry College and Drexel University.
