We are excited to welcome a new food service manager for the 2018-2019 school year, Evelyn Mendoza of Ceres Food Group.
Evelyn is a trained chef who graduated from St. Augustine College in 2011. She has held front and back-of-the-house positions in restaurants, cultural institutions and assisted living facilities. She shares, “I want to use my creativity and experience to bring new concepts to Regina. We would like to make dining in the cafeteria an enjoyable experience by offering outstanding food and hospitality.”
Our new breakfast service beings at 7:15 am with a morning coffee bar with homemade baked goods and fruit smoothies. Her new menus will feature made-from-scratch, restaurant-
quality meals, daily vegetarian options and exploration of multicultural cuisines. We are striving for a pleasant atmosphere and making sure we respond to input from students and staff.
