Alumnae Choir adds their voices to recent Alumnae Masses
The Alumnae Choir sang at Reunion Mass on October 7 under the direction of Kaylee Lentino Durow ’92. On October 29, several members joined pianist Susan Hager ’08 to sing at the annual Alumnae Remembrance Mass.
The Alumnae Choir formed in April of 2017. The first performance under the direction of Harriet Heinz ’68 and Joan Pritchard was a surprise tribute to Sister Nancy Murray OP ’65 in celebration of her 50th Jubilee. The event, held May 1, 2017, was a fundraiser for the newly renovated auditorium.
According to Joan Mulvihill Kitchie ’77, VP of Advancement, the performance was so well received and the alumnae had so much fun, that it seemed a shame not to perform again. The alumnae masses held every fall for Reunion and Remembrance were added to the choir calendar. If you are interested in joining the choir please click here.
