Who is leading the Search Process for the next President of Regina Dominican?
The Search Process is being led by the Board of Directors. Recognizing the magnitude of the task to find the next President of Regina Dominican, the Board of Directors has engaged the services of Catholic School Management (CSM), a division of Christian Brothers Services, to work with the Board-appointed Search Committee in facilitating a national search. CSM will assist the Search Committee in identifying potential candidates, conducting background screening, and facilitating the interview and selection process. CSM will begin their work on January 11 and 12, 2016 by seeking input and recommendations from the Board of Directors, administrators, faculty, staff, parents, students, alumnae, and benefactors. Jennifer C. Kensel, CSM Director of Administrator Search, and Lisa J. Nilmeier, CSM Adjunct Consultant, will be on-site during those dates and will also facilitate the initial meeting of the Search Committee.
How can I participate in the search process? How can I contribute?
All members of the Regina Dominican community are encouraged to share their thoughts with the Search Committee. You are invited to provide input to the Search Committee using the private email that is directed to the Search Committee Co-Chairs, Bob Cerone and Sarah O’Malley Thorrens: [email protected]
After all the consultation and input, who decides who will be the next President of Regina Dominican?
The Leadership Team of the Adrian Dominican Sisters appoints the President of Regina Dominican upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors of Regina Dominican.
The Search Committee, with assistance from CSM, will develop a profile of the President position based on input from faculty, staff, administrators, parents, students, and alumnae. After interviewing candidates for the position of President, the Search Committee will recommend finalists for the position of President to the Board of Directors, who in turn will recommend to the Adrian Dominican Sisters.
