Project Based Learning
Regina Dominican students participate in project-based classroom learning and engage in creative ethical problem solving. This instructional strategy makes learning fun and meaningful while fostering high academic achievement.
Projects typically fall under one of the following seven global areas: energy, health, and science; individual and cultural identity; resources and sustainability; shifting populations; global finance and economics; and ubiquitous technology.
Project-based learning is relevant for today’s students because it provides them an opportunity to connect the work accomplished in school with the world outside of the classroom.
