2003 Panther Basketball Final Four Team to be Inducted Into the GCAC Hall of Fame
The 2003 Varsity Basketball Team which placed third in 2003 IHSA tournament. The Panthers finished the season with a 25-11 record. “And make no mistake it took all 15 players and three coaches to have us succeed,” said head coach Jim Russo. The players along with Coach Russo and assistant coaches Mary Robinson and Bill Yacullo will be honored at a luncheon on April 14. Team members include: Roberta Ceccherini-Nelli ’03, Mary Kate Gale’03, Elizabeth Shelus ’03, Ashley Robinson ’03, Christina Quaye ’03, Emily Nufer ’03, Clarise Jones ’03, Catherine Budzinski Cavazos ’04, Catherine Ruf Henshaw ’04, Theresa Trejo ’04, Elizabeth Nufer Zimmer ’05, Lauren Schober Maldanado ’05 and Rosie Dorn Pufpaf ’06.
