Virginia Cowhey Kendall ’80 awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Siena Heights University
Siena Heights University awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree to Judge Virginia Cowhey Kendall at their Fall Convocation on September 7, 2017, in St. Dominic Chapel.
Judge Kendall has championed the fight against child exploitation and human trafficking during her career, including working as an assistant U.S. attorney and then a judge for the U.S. District Court of Northern Illinois. During her years in the Attorney’s Office, she tried numerous federal jury cases involving such crimes as public corruption, child molestation, and racketeering
