Tennis has been rocking the court this year! In addition to key wins against Trinity and Resurrection, the team has bonded and practiced with the pros at Westmoreland. Congratulations to the Varsity team for a BIG WIN over Resurrection on Thursday. Final was 4-1.

Grace Tamisiea earned a first place finish in singles by crushing her opponent 6-2, 6-1.

Elizabeth Hancuch placed second in singles with a score of 6-0, 6-1.

Barb Schultz and Nora Loftus at second doubles walked off the court with a 6-2, 6-3 victory. Grace Forde and Flo Hoxha step up to third doubles to pull in a Varsity win of 7-5, 6-3.

The JV squad tied at 2-2. Mary Brikha at first singles blow out her opponent and her tennis shoes with a 6-1, 6-3 win. Hailey Hoffman stepped in to second singles and brought down her competition 6-4, 6-0. Katie Burke and Meagan Murphy battled to the bitter end in a heartbreaking double tie breaker loss – but perhaps the best match of night.
